Step into Spring and shed those winter kilos
Friday, 11 August 2017
Shake off the winter blues and lose those extra kilos with SWITCH gym’s new promotion, Step into Spring, which offers $100 off six-month memberships.
SWITCH 24-hour gym at Goonellabah Sports & Aquatic Centre offers gym-only memberships or premium memberships which include access to the gym, pool and Group Fitness classes. 24/7 gym access also allows you to work out at a time that suits you.
Premium membership holders also get added extras including health assessments and personalised exercise programs. Members can choose one-on-one or small group personal training packages to accelerate their results and reach their goals faster.
“Step into Spring is all about encouraging people to get off the couch and into the gym,” Gym Manager Roberta O’Brien said.
“Those first steps are always the hardest, but we are here to help every step of the way. We have friendly staff, excellent equipment and a family atmosphere, all with 24-hour access.
“The end of winter is the perfect time to make a commitment to your health and now is the time to join and save.”
SWITCH 24-hour gym has recently upgraded some of its gym floor equipment, including new free weight benches, treadmills from LifeFitness and Technogym Skill Mills.
These amazing, state-of-the-art Skill Mills are uniquely designed to ensure a more natural gait while running and they have a self-driven belt so you get more glute-activation while working out.
“At the end of the day, that means a better workout and a firmer backside!” Roberta laughed.
The Technogym Skill Mills also allow members to change resistance levels from walking and build up to a sled push without the need for a sled track. This is great for athletic development or adding variety to any workout.
As part of the special Step into Spring promotion, six-month gym-only memberships are just $300 while premium memberships are only $530.
SWITCH 24-hour gym also has a special student rate – gym-only memberships just $12 per week and premium memberships just $16 per week.
Step into Spring is available exclusively until 30 September, so don’t delay. Phone SWITCH on 6625 5370 or visit the friendly staff at Goonellabah Sports & Aquatic Centre.
Premium membership with SWITCH 24-hour gym gives you access to the gym 24/7 as well as more than 40 Group Fitness classes including Les Mills and aqua aerobics.
Premium members have the opportunity to take advantage of the pool for lap swimming or leisure and they can access health assessments and tailored programs.
With help from the friendly gym staff, you can mix and match Group Fitness classes, time in the pool and gym workouts to maximise the variety in your exercise regime, stay motivated and have fun.
SWITCH 24-hour gym at Goonellabah Sports & Aquatic Centre is a community facility and there is a focus on providing a holistic service for all ages, from the young and fit to seniors wanting to improve movement and flexibility.
